2010 年了. 短短的一個多月, 就已經發生了很多事情.

先 update 一下工作吧. 新的 department structure 出爐了, 我們卻很不開心. 老闆並沒有趁這個機會, 把一些存在很久的的問題解決掉. 新方案反而使問題變的更加嚴重. 在忍無可忍的情況下, 我們決定主動與經理溝通, 敘述我們的感受與需求. 我們希望工作的分配能儘量人人平等. 這是第一次, 我們齊心齊力的向高層反應我們的不滿. 我已經很久沒有在 operations side “發揮” 我的口才了. 哈哈哈! 我只有在做 project 的時候, 才會比較 aggressive. 在 operations side, 我通常比較被動. 人家說一, 我就做一, 因為我不想這麼 high profile. 可是這次, 我卻主動反駁了經理的幾個論點. 經理一定是被我嚇到了. 平時聽話的, 原來是個 “頂心杉”. 我想她們真的是把我惹火了! 結果是什麼? 還不知道, 但是至少我們曾經爭取過.

再來, update 我的 family 吧! 我爸爸又進醫院了. 這次是因為他的肺部有 internal bleeding. 醫生說應該是他的lung cancer 有 relapse, 裡面的腫瘤在侵蝕他的肺, 所以出現 internal bleeding. 那天早上, 當我姊姊說我們需要帶爸爸去 NCC 掛急診的時候, 我真的是嚇到腿軟. 長這麼大, 還真沒試過嚇到腿軟呢. 當大佬 sms 我說我們得做最壞的打算時, 我更是沒辦法制止淚水. 我當時正在上班. 我想, 如果能大聲的哭出來就好了. But of course, I did not.

後來醫生 prescribed 了止血藥和抗生素. 我爸爸的 internal bleeding 是 stop 了. 可是, 他的身體也更弱了. 醫生說他的 condition 是 life-threatening but stable. 這意味著什麼呢? This means, when IT happens, IT will be a sudden one. 我只是希望, 當那一刻來臨時, it won’t be too painful for him.

住了五晚, 我爸爸終於能出院了. 現在 Mdm Chieng 對我爸爸是寸步不離. 就連他睡覺的時候, Mdm Chieng 也還是很alert, 很害怕他會一時喘不過氣來. 唉… 所以我現在也很擔心 Mdm Chieng, 也會時常關心一下她的 emotions, 也很擔心她會病倒.

我們認為生存已經沒意思, 許多人卻正在生死之間掙扎. 其實能活著, 真的很好.

我是說發洩不滿的情緒啦!

這幾個星期真是忙到~~~ 往年五個人分擔的工作, 現在只有三個人頂. 昨天終於發火了. 因為老娘就是不爽嘛. 人家放假, 我們就得做嗎? 什麼都我們做的話, 放她的名字在 project 裡是為了比較好看, 還是怎樣啊? 我是不好意思把氣發洩在無辜的人身上啦, 但誰叫她們是同部門的, 而我怎樣叫她跟她老闆反應一下, 她就是不肯. 最可惡的是, 明知道自己是 project member, 但是什麼都沒有做. 問也不問一下, 是怎樣的態度啊? 她不會是天真到認為 project team 什麼都不用做, 明年三月一號大家就能順利的使用這個 system 吧? 真有夠他媽的. 喔, 這樣罵人是很不好啦. 但... 嗯.

下個月, 部門裡會有人事變動. 可是目前為止, 新老闆還是隻字不提. 天啊! 大家都知道的事, 她到底想隱瞞到什麼時候啊? 不明白. 想不透. 怪不得我不是做老闆的料.

Year end 是各部門 review 自己 operations 的時候, 所以 year end 也理所當然成了各部門儘量把吃力不討好的屎工推去給其他部門的時候. 聽說, 我的部門吃了敗仗. 或許, 會接收幾個屎工. 聽說, 好像是, 感覺上是, 因為老闆還新, 不知道這些是屎工, 也不知道要用什麼原因推掉這些是屎工, 更不曉得大家都很計較 (當然除了她自己, 非常不計較. 她例外. 但苦了員工. 因為我們非常, 也必須計較. 她可以大方, 因為做屎工的是我們). 聽說. 或許. 好像是. 感覺上是. 什麼跟什麼嘛. 因為到目前為止, 她只是轉發了一個 email, 就沒公佈什麼了. 我們到底接收哪些屎工, 不知道. 但一想到我們得做屎工, 我就很不爽.

前幾天聽同事說她將會調到其他部門去. 她的初衷不是這樣的. 她認為經理賞識她, 所以要待在這部門. 啊? 經理會賞識人? 哼! 我早就看穿她的把戲了. 公司又不是她開的. 她根本不需要賞識什麼人. 她只是找一位她認為可以完成工作的人罷了. 喔, 這樣說她是怪不好的. 畢竟她(還)沒對我怎樣. 但... 嗯.

十二月真的很難挨耶. 其實還有幾件氣人的事. 但我 type 到累了. 還有, 要睡覺了. 不宜激動. 所以... 嗯. 晚安.

又大了一歲. 最近真的覺得自己老了. 以前一直不認老是因為公司裡的人, 年紀都比我大, 所以就一直覺得自己還很年輕啊. 可是近期公司來了很多新人, 最"老"的也只不過是83年的. 唉! 以前進來的男生還能看, 現在啊... 對我來說是男"孩"囉. 難道, 我已經"upgrade" from "看靓仔" to "看靓佬" 的 level 了? 不會吧...

Dear Dear booked 了 New Majestic Hotel 幫我慶祝生日. Before that, 我們去吃了我們都愛的 Asian Kitchen.





New Majestic Hotel 還蠻舒服的耶. 每間房間的設計都不一樣的. 我們被分配到"Hey Diddle Diddle" room.











最好的 perks 就是他們的 toiletries 是 branded 的囉. 我一向都不用酒店的 free toiletries 的. But 這個, 我用. 用不完, 還拿回家呢. 哈哈哈! 別浪費嘛.



As for dinner, 我們去了一家我一直很想光顧可是都沒去的 japanese food restaurant, Tampopo. 因為我覺得還蠻貴的. 不過是挺不錯吃的啦.







28歲的生日, 就這樣過了. 最後, 謝謝朋友們的 sms 和在 '非死不可' 的留言啦!

Earlier this month, Dear Dear and I went to Taiwan for a break. It was our Honeymoon Part 2. Japan was enjoyable but I felt we should have a "honeymoon" again. Haha!

Our itinerary for the tour.



First stop at Shihlin Night Market.



We went to Chiufen Old Street on the second day.



Our favourite snack there. Grilled mushrooms which tasted so meaty.



Then we went to the National Centre for Traditional Arts at Ilan. A boring place. Our mood was dampened by the rain, so we sat down to enjoy the coffee and listen to the raindrops instead. :P





We took the train to Hualien. My "virgin" ride of 火車. Because there were 18 of us in the tour group and the tour guide didn't manage to buy seats at the same door, he told the four of us to wait on our own at this platform. It was quite a long wait, so when one train came, we excitedly boarded the train. The tour guide ran towards us and shouted at us. OMG! We boarded the WRONG train! Luckily, we alighted before the train moved. Tour guide 說他太自以為是了, 所以掉以輕心. He thought we knew... But overlooked the fact that we were TOURISTS!

I happily posed at the wrong train before boarding it. This is called 無驚死. Hahaha!



We had the most unforgettable experience in Hualien. In this hotel. Marshal Hotel.



Before departing, we watched news that two typhoons would approach Taiwan during our holiday there. So we were "very" aware that we would experience typhoons there. What we didn't expect was EARTHQUAKE!

We were sleeping when it happened. The loud noise of windows and cabinets shaking woke me up. I turned to look at Dear Dear. He's still sleeping. By then, I thought I met ghosts. The room was haunted. It was so noisy, YET he was still SLEEPING?! I tapped on his shoulders. He turned to look at me. Suddenly, the bed shook profusely! The room was swinging! We couldn't comprehend what was happening, so we hugged each other very tightly! Then the swinging stopped. We heard people talking in the corridor. Dear Dear went out of the room to check what just happened. Everyone was asking "was that earthquake?". So Dear Dear came back to the room and called the recep counter. The guy told him "喔! 那是地震啊. 不過沒事了. 你可以回去睡了." Wa biang, how to 回去睡? So... Dear Dear switched on the tv and watched soccer. We just experienced earthquake and he's watching soccer! Really xxxyyyzzz... But because 我被嚇到很累, 我還真的睡回去了. 之後發生的餘震, 都沒感覺到了. Hahaha!

Next morning, the whole tour group was talking about the experience. 我終於明白什麼是患難見真情. Everyone became closer after the incident.

We visited the Taroku Gorge but couldn't walked in the Nine Turn Grotto as it was closed due to the typhoons. Hence... we drank coffee there.





We stayed at this 5/6 stars hot spring hotel with personal hot spring facility in the room. Niceee...




We also went to Kenting. Because typhoons were coming and predicted to land at Kenting, the tourist attraction spots were closed.

On the bullet train to Tainan.



Supposedly, we were to release 天燈 at Tainan. But due to the bad weather, they let us played with fireworks instead. Dear Dear was disappointed. He had played with fireworks before so he was looking forward to the 天燈. Well... I didn't mind fireworks. Coz I felt that 放天燈一點都不環保.



We went to the Formosan Aboriginal Culture Village. It's more like a theme park.



FIRST time Dear Dear was successful in catching something!



The 日月潭 at sunset. First time I saw a 紫霞.



Because the route to Alisan was destroyed by the 88 水災, we went to this Xi Tou Forest Recreational Area. We put our phototaking skills learnt when posing for our wedding photos into good use. Our tour mates said this photo was 美 leh! But I said 很好笑!



I quite liked the Taichung's Fengjia Night Market. Preferred this than Shihlin's.



We visited Taipei 101. So short. My Dear Dear could easily reached its peak with 他的小指頭. :P




And we went to eat the famous 阿宗麵線. So niceeee that we had it twice.



Then we went to sing KTV at Partyworld, recommended by Ah Jiao.




That's the end. Sorry for the 跳針式 story coz this post is too long manz. 寫到好累喔! Last but not least, I would say that I wanna go there again. For the 阿宗麵線!

Met my secondary school classmates for a gathering at Hyatt's Mezza9. It's been a long time since we catch up with each other. Good food, good company. Definitely enjoyed the session! Hope to have such gatherings more frequently.



After the brunch, Dear Dear came and meet me to go to the Games Convention at Suntec City. We went there last night but were too late. Most of the booths had closed. So we went down earlier today. Took photos with those into cosplay.











Played Guitar Hero Arcade but failed miserably. I tried the Expert level at my first attempt since I'd reached this level with Wii. BUT I didn't pass it. AND I couldn't pass the Hard level too! Ahem... Hmmm... This version was more difficult than Wii's.



We had dinner at Secret Recipe. I still prefered Suntec City's outlet. The one at Vivocity sucks.

After the dinner, we went Esplanade and Singapore Flyer to try out our new camera. Coz my casio camera was really lousy with night scenes. So had to ensure that this new camera was able to capture nice night shots.









The camera is really good. We should be able to take nicer photos in our coming overseas holiday!
